My apologies, the statement was never meant to be "presumptuous and arrogant". I have edited the text to be a bit more appropriate to what was meant. Thanks for your comment and pointing out my error.

i love shooting fireworks and you have some beautiful examples here. i've always been a little hit and miss but quickly found bulb works best it allows you to spot the firework leaving the ground then hold the shutter open until it has finished. using a set exposure ended in the shutter closing mid explosion; not a good thing in any situation.

thanks for sharing

Easier way is to open lightroom 3.4 and select FILE -> PLUG-IN MANAGER. At the left side of the window (plug-in manager) is row of applications. Now choose photomatix (as it should have grey ball beside it) and click ENABLE. Now the color of the ball should be green.

Worked for me.

My guess is that it was a property right issue.

The owner of the property has the say so about photography (especially the interior of the building).

My guess is that the manager did not know if he had the authority to authorize photography of the property and didn't want to waste time checking with the owners.

Hera hear. This is how HDR should be used. I'm tired of seeing all these eye popping, vomit inducing cartoon like colours, all over the web.

Bruce, that is great! You've shown how to do something that I thought was much more complicated that it is. Thank you for this.

Keep them coming Bruce. I like the videos.
