Ok, after my last post I was waiting for my upgrades to arrive. Well, they arrived yesterday and I spent a few hours last night uninstalling…installing…downloading upgrades…installing…uninstalling…installing…re-installing…downloading upgrades…and finally installing! Whew! That took awhile. Bascially, I had to uninstall the pen tablet, then install the new intuos 4 pen tablet, then download the updated drivers for the pen tablet and install those. Then I had to uninstall CS3, install CS4, reinstall OnOne so CS4 would recognize it, then download updates for CS4 and camera raw and install those. End result, hold on now – this is what you’ve been waiting for – it’s FANTASTIC! Now I’m wondering why did I ever wait so long to upgrade my pen tablet!

The Intuos 4 is smooth, responsive, and very light to the touch making all my editing tasks easier. It will be awhile before I have everything figured out, like how to program it for each application. Maybe I can download some configuration files from NAPP. Anyway, just wanted to give a quick update on my latest aquisitions – of which even now I would recommend to anyone who can afford to upgrade.
